Step into your new home (first entry, the kalash and the lamp) at the best time. The best time is inside the good window, in a suitable lagna and away from Rahu Kaal. If you can't make the best time, anywhere in the good window still works.

What every date has
A nakshatra, tithi and weekday that tradition gives for griha pravesh, following the nakshatra groups of the Muhurta Chintamani; never a Rikta tithi (Chaturthi, Navami, Chaturdashi), Amavasya or Bhadra. Sunrise, Rahu Kaal and the lagna are worked out for New Delhi.
